On the eve of his retirement, Robert Morgenthau, the 90 year old Manhattan DA, the model for the original Law & Order DA, gives an interview to the Wall Street Journal describing his fight with New York mayor Michael Bloomberg, going after banks dealing with Iran through his office, and pursuing his foreign policy agenda from a metropolitan district attorney job sometimes to the chagrin of city and federal authorities
